Amazon Teacher Must Haves

 I have used has been good!I am sure that we visit Amazon at least once a day. Am I right? If you are a brand new teacher this is a good starting point, especially if you are on a budget! Here 7 Amazon teacher must haves that I used daily that make my life easier as a teacher.

Amazon Doorbell

 This wireless doorbell is amazing in the classroom! I have 2 so that I can have a remote at my desk and one at my reading table. It is loud enough for the kids to hear and comes with multiple doorbells. I use it as an attention getter, but I have seen teachers put it outside their door so that they know when someone is out there.

Coasters

I didn’t know how much I needed these until my wonderful coworker bought me some! I had a giant water bottle, and it was leaving a mess everywhere I went. It was so nice to have coasters at both of my desks to set my drink on.

Amazon Lip Smacker ChapStick

This one is not for me! I call these SMELLY STICKERS. Instead of using stamps or a marker, I have been putting a little dot of ChapStick on their paper. They get so excited to see which one I am going to use and can’t wait to smell it. I buy these when they are on clearance at Walmart after Christmas for 1-2 dollars.

Amazon Wireless Mouse

Our wireless connection has been horrible and most of the time It doesn’t work. Having a wireless mouse allows me to be at my guided reading table and still access my interactive whiteboard for transition music, ClassDojo, and more!

Electric Stapler

This is not necessary, and I know that it is more on the expensive side, but especially in the primary grades we staple A LOT! This has come in handy and saved me a lot of time and effort.

Amazon Gel Highlighters

Move over Flair Pens! I have a new addiction and it is with gel crayons/highlighters. Each brand that I used has been great! I love the way these glide and look on paper. You can use them to correct work, assessments, and for other teacher things. Recently, I have let the kids use them to decode words during small group. IT IS A BIG HIT!

Toolkit

This is the most borrowed thing from my classroom by other teachers. It is so handy to have all year especially at the beginning of the year!
